Thinking Green

I am thinking green. Green and spring and warm breezes, blue skies with fluffy white clouds. This winter seems to me a long one and I am ready for the greening of the land and trees. Rebirth, new life and blessings for us all. The small baby robin in the picture was receiving flying lessons from his parents last year. Both parents do participate in this endeavor and will let you know if you are too close to the precious one.

  1. Oh dear garden stones. How wonderful. Thanks for the picture.

  2. I had a baby robin take refuge on my apartment's windowsill one rainy day after a flying lesson. He was all tuckered out. He rested a while, watching me cook dinner and letting me talk to him, then called for his parents' help. One adult called back, encouraging him to make a last effort to reach the ground and fuel up on some worms. I felt for the baby, but it was a real treat for me to watch the story unfold.

  3. Mamma birds they do love their babies,
Don't you love watching them. I have bought a bird House that is open in the back and attaches to glass so you can see the babies in the nest.. Yvonne sending my best wishes
