The Marker

After reading about surveying, I have come to the conclusion that surveyors appeared shortly after land was formed. Words like elements of geometry, engineering, trigonometry, mathematics, physics and law are used for the people that today still use the basic tools of tape measure, level, and a theodite or transit set on a tripod and GPS is now a tool used by surveyors. When all the measuring and sightings are done it comes down to a small pin driven into the ground to make it official and mark the boundary.

  1. I am assuming that is your property line. Don't trip and fall gal. I probably would. Our property is bounded by all the neighbor's fences. Great photo.
