Grape Leaf Skeletonizer

The name says it all. Even though there are no grape
arbors here there are wild grape vines. I find him quite
fashionable in his black and near white, sporting a
beautiful red collar. He found his way onto the back
porch and I got him onto a piece of paper for his
photo shoot.

  1. Black and White is a classic colour scheme now isn't it!
It's always a fun challenge taking photos of little critters like these..but the intricate patterns and all that detail is oh soooooo worth it!

    Have a great Day!

  4. Wow, thanks for teaching me that - I think I've seen this handsome fella and saw the red on him and ran...thinking he's going to bite me. I never kill anything out of doors, but when something is inside the house, that's another story, sorry! I've got a doggy who needs my protection too and I'm a wimp when it comes to bugs in the house because most of them want to sting me (ouch)

I'm glad I know now what it is. I love learning something new every day and today I did. Thank you :-)
