Dandelion Fritters
Off With Their Heads.....
Most Important !!!!!!
Do Not Gather Any Flower Heads That Have
Been Treated With Any Chemicals.......
Start small...gather two cups of Dandelion flower heads...
Prepare The Batter
1/2 cup Biscuit Flour
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup milk
***Please note...I did not have Biscuit Flour in my cabinet today
so I used this wonderful Seasoned Flour
Heat about 1/2 inch of cooking oil in a skillet over medium+ heat ...
I am using a small skillet..the oil is ready when a small amount of batter dropped
into it sizzles..
Dip flower heads into batter and drop head first into hot oil
Cook until golden brown and turn with tongs to fry bottom side.
Drain well on paper towel.
They are delicious! Good hot or cold. If using the Seasoned Flour
try them with Ranch Dressing....yummy!!
The original recipe and other great wild recipes are in this book.
Available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Thunder Rumbles...
and rain throughout the night have brought a bright and wet beginning to the day. Where did that gorgeous (?) thistle spring from ? Looks like the clothes lines need to be restrung and the rain gauge tell all.
