Drawing from the Ink Cap

...... an inedible mushroom...probably
growing off the roots of a deceased tree...

two days later... shooting skyward...
between 8 1/2 and 9 inches in height

the ink in the cap....in other times the caps were
boiled with water to make a 'drawing ink'

needing a writing instrument...this small found
feather will do...

the final results...the ink cap itself will be gone tomorrow.

  2. Love the post. Tree galls were used to make a brown ink that was used by Abraham Lincoln and others during the 1800's. My parrot loves your birdsong. He keeps looking at the screen to see who is singing.
